Steiff Kinder Dolls - by R. John Wright
Steiff provided inspiration for some of R. John Wright's earliest creations. So now let us introduce you to a wonderful series of felt dolls, which are a collaboration between both companies and evoke the early child dolls produced by Steiff in the early 1900's. The dolls feature moulded faces, hand-painted features, glass eyes, mohair wigs and individually sewn fingers. They are dressed in detailed clothing and accessories reflecting their German heritage. Produced by R. John Wright, the dolls are each limited to 500 pieces worldwide. They feature the trademark Steiff "Button in Ear", as well as the brass 'RJW' button. Each comes beautifully boxed with a certificate of ownership. |
