RETURNS
We do accept returns within 30 days of receipt; however, we do charge a 35% restocking fee.
When can I expect to receive my order
The average time for delivery is around 2 weeks. This is an expectation, not a promise or
guarantee.
SHIPPING
Domestic orders will be charged $11.00 for the first item, and $3.00 for each
additional item.
International orders will be charged $30.00 for the first
item, and $10.00 for each additional item.
What's My Steiff Worth - Appraisals
We are not appraisers and only sell new items directly purchased from Steiff. Linda Mullins
writes a price guide for Steiff available from Amazon. E-bay has a section called Vintage Steiff
where you can try and locate your item and see how much others, if any, are selling theirs. If
none are selling, set a reserve high enough that if it's met, you would be thrilled. Auctions fail,
but will tell you how many people are interested in your item, and what they would be willing to
pay. Next auction, consider a "buy now".
PRE-ORDER ITEMS
Items marked PRE-ORDER, are not yet available in the United States. These items
have been formally announced by Steiff, and generally are manufactured in very
limited quantities. If you order a PRE-ORDER item, you will be charged a 15%
deposit now, and the balance when the item is ready to ship.
The 15% PRE-ORDER deposit is non-refundable.
BACK-ORDER ITEMS
Items occasionally go on backorder, and it takes 2 weeks to 2 months
for these items to become available again. Unfortunately, we can't tell
if an item is on backorder until after the fact. It's quite unfortunate,
but to be expected when dealing with a valuable collectible like Steiff.
