Ball Game Assorted - 1897
This new Worldwide Limited Edition will bowl you over. Skittles were introduced in 1892 and remained in the Steiff catalog through 1919. This particularly decorative set is a replica of a 1897 Steiff original. This collector's set is comprised of nine exquisitely made felt and excelsior stuffed animals, balanced on wooden risers, and two softly constructed balls. Naturally, the ‘King Pin' is a Teddy proudly wearing a red felt tail coat and crown. Each skittle wears a black and white consecutively numbered eartag.
