Yet the Teddy Baby Blue, designed in 1929, was only manufactured to serve as a prototype. In the year 1992, this extraordinary Teddy Bear, with his deep voice, served as a model for the first Club Teddy Bears by Steiff. Now, both young and old Teddy Bear fans can enjoy the bear with the blue leather riveted collar padding on smooth, soft soles. Teddy Baby Blue is the first bear of the new Steiff series called "Little Giants," in which classic Steiff figures such as Teddy Baby, Dolly, Petsy, Jackie, and Zotty, measuring 20 inches in length, can make their dazzling appearance.
