The Teddy bear from 1908 - now the great-great-great-great-grandfather of many other generations of bears - is stepping into the limelight again. With the customary Steiff attention to event the tiniest details, this Teddy bear is aged by almost a hundred years during the several days of hand production. This is achieved by partially shaving the mohair plush and simulating the patina by means of creative airbrush work. All of which leads to a nostalgic masterpiece, which, with the same growler as the original, has a long story to tell. The story of an unmistakable original capable of melting the hearts of both young and old.

This 13 inch tall bear is mohair and fully jointed. He is surface washable. The 1908 Replica bear is a limited edition of only 1908 pieces and he is stuffed with wood shavings.
